Finishes have a significant impact on the ultimate appearance of the underlying wood species.  And it can be said that applying a finish is as much an art as it is a science.  Temperature & humidity control, precise measurements, surface preparation, quality ingredients, a skilled craftsman’s hand, and so much more affect the end results.  Some common applications include:

Accordingly, our finishers are highly skilled craftsmen trained in the multi-step process involved in applying the finish(es) of your choice.  In fact, some finishes can involve as many as 12 or 14 steps.  And distressing and rub-through techniques introduce additional steps to the process.

Importantly, we choose finishes that are environmentally friendly.  Our paints and finishes are Non-VOC (Volatile Organic Compounds).  Plus, plywood used in construction is low- or formaldehyde-free for your family’s protection.
